Jeffrey C. Crowe past chairman of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and member of the senior council.

Crowe is chairman of Landstar System, Inc., one of the largest non-asset-based transportation capacity providers in the United States, with a network of more than 7,200 business capacity owners (small business contractors who supply the company with the equipment used to haul freight), 14,000 third party truck capacity providers and 1,000 independent agent locations.  Landstar has been named one of "America's Best Big Companies" by Forbes magazine for four consecutive years.

He has served as chairman of the National Defense Transportation Association since 1993, and also serves on the boards of SunTrust Bank of North Florida and the ENO Transportation Foundation, among others. 

Crowe has received numerous awards for his leadership including Wall Street Transcript's 1994 Silver Award and 1995 Gold Award as the Transportation CEO of the Year. In 1995, Financial World Magazine named him Transportation CEO of the Year. In October 1996, he was awarded the National Defense Transportation's highest award, The National Transportation Award.

Crowe received his B.A. degree from Drake University.

He and his wife Mary reside in Jacksonville, Florida, and have one daughter, Christy.
