Gerald L. Shaheen

Past Chair of the Board of Directors and member of the Senior Council, U.S. Chamber of Commerce

Gerald L. Shaheen is the past chair of the board of directors of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the world's largest business federation. He is former chairman of the Chamber's Transportation Infrastructure and Logistics Committee and currently serves on the board of directors of the National Chamber Foundation, the Chamber's public policy think tank.

Shaheen received his bachelor's degree in marketing from Bradley University in 1966 and his master's degree from the same institution in 1968. He currently serves the university as chairman of its board of trustees. He was recognized as Distinguished Alumnus in 1993 and was inducted into the Centurion Society that same year. Shaheen completed the Tuck Executive Program at Dartmouth College in 1988.
