Energy, Clean Air & Natural Resources

Background

The Energy, Clean Air, & Natural Resources Committee develops and maintains Chamber policy on all aspects of energy, clean air and natural resources. Specifically, the committee is responsible for the development of policies concerning the regulation of domestic energy markets, air, natural resources and climate change to ensure that these laws and regulations are reasonable, based on sound science and the best data available, consider actual health risks, and avoid unnecessary burdens on energy supplies and the economy. The committee works to promote legal and regulatory reforms and other safeguards against regulatory abuses by administrative agencies.
