750,000 American jobs have been lost due to counterfeiting and piracy. The threat to American workers is real.

Eastman Machine Company, in Buffalo, New York, has experienced this directly. In the 1990s, criminal networks abroad cloned Eastman products and began churning out counterfeits--under the name "Westman." Sales dropped 50%, and the company was forced to cut from 150 employees to 58 today.
