2008 Corporate Citizenship Awards

BCLC's Corporate Citizenship Awards showcase businesses, trade associations, chambers of commerce, and partner organizations for demonstrating ethical leadership and corporate stewardship and for making a positive difference in society.

Selection Process

U.S. Community Service Award and International Community Service Award: The BCLC Awards Advisory Board, including past Awards winners, receives ballots. If a nominee for an award is represented on the Advisory Board, that organization does not vote on the award in question.

Corporate Stewardship Award: A select committee of eminent Americans, chaired by Harvard University Professor Michael Porter, will choose the winner.

Partnership Award: This unique voting process involves initial nomination by a company, chamber, or trade association in partnership with a charitable organization. The public will then be able to vote on the finalists via BCLC's Web site from September 8 to October 8. Nominators should be willing and able to campaign for their Partnership program.
