Hiring Our Heroes

Hiring Our Heroes is a nationwide effort to help veterans and their spouses find meaningful employment. Launched in conjunction with the Department of Labor Veterans Employment and Training Service (DOL VETS), the Hiring Our Heroes network of partnerships includes local chambers, veterans assistance groups, and government agencies, including the White House’s Joining Forces initiative. Through hiring fairs across the country and special programs for women veterans, military spouses, and wounded warriors, Hiring Our Heroes is working to bring down unemployment for America’s veterans.

Center for Women in Business

The Center for Women in Business was launched in 2011 to help promote and unleash the untapped potential of women in business for the benefit of our local, national, and global community.  The Center works to identify and promote policies to maximize business opportunities for women, and provides opportunities for women business leaders to meet and learn from each other. 

Dream Big! Small Business of the Year Award

Held in conjunction with America’s Small Business Summit, this awards program honors successful small business owners and entrepreneurs who have contributed to the vibrancy of American free enterprise. The program recognizes 75 outstanding business owners as Blue Ribbon Small Businesses. Award recipients are announced at the Summit each May, where the winner receives a $10,000 prize.
