Join us on Thursday, May 2, 2013 from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. as the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, together with the Bennington Office of the Vermont Department of Labor, partner for Hiring Our Heroes - Bennington, VT. This hiring event, which will be FREE for both employers and job seekers, will take place at the Southwest Vermont Career Development Center. Employers will be interviewing and recruiting for currently-available jobs across all sectors. Veterans, active duty military, members of the National Guard and reserve components, and military spouses will be able to meet exclusively with employers between 3:00 – 4:00 p.m.  After four, the general public will also be admitted.

This employment event is a being conducted by U.S. Chamber of Commerce; the Vermont Department of Labor; the Vermont Chamber of Commerce - Aerospace and Aviation Association; the Vermont Department of Labor - Workforce Development; the Department of Labor Veterans’ Employment & Training Service (DOL VETS); the Vermont Committee; Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR); the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs; The American Legion; NBC News, and other local partners.
