Thank you for joining us for a unique event, Serving Those Who Have Served: A Symposium on Hiring Veterans. The symposium, which featured dual tracks: one for businesses and one for veterans, was on Friday, October 5, from 7:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Sheraton Premiere in Tysons Corner. Thank you for helping us empower Northern Virginia businesses to end the cycle of unemployment among veterans! 

All Veterans and currently enlisted military personnel in the D.C. metro area were invited to a unique professional development and mentoring opportunity on Friday, October 5, from 7:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Sheraton Premiere Tysons Corner. Hosted by the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce and theAmerican Freedom Foundation, the half-day event was geared toward helping Veterans learn best practices in finding employment and successfully transitioning into the private or public sectors – directly from private and public sector representatives, many of who have successfully transitioned themselves!
