Thank you for joining us August 24, 2012 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, for a job fair for veteran job seekers, active duty military members, Guard and Reserve members, and military spouses, at the Greensboro Sheraton, 3121 High Point Road, Greensboro, NC. This event was a one-of-a-kind FREE hiring fair for both employers and job seekers.

This Hero2Hired (H2H)-sponsored event was conducted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the North Carolina National Guard, North Carolina Committee of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), ARNG Yellow Ribbon, the North Carolina State Chamber, North Carolina Employment Security Commission, The Department of Veterans Affairs, The American Legion, Department of Labor Veterans’ Employment & Training Service (DOL VETS), NBC News, and other local partners.

This event was held in conjunction with the North Carolina National Guard Employment Workshops occurring earlier that day and will be a one-of-a-kind FREE hiring fair for both employers and job seekers. Lunch was reserved for all employers from 11:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. The first hour of this fair from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM was reserved for Guard and Reservists that attend these workshops.  These workshops were conducted by volunteers from SHRM.
