Join us Thursday, September 19, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. as we bring employers with available jobs to the Ramada Inn & Conference Center for Hiring Our Heroes – Lewiston/Auburn, ME. At this free hiring event, employers across all sectors will be on-site to interview and recruit veteran job seekers, active duty military, members of the National Guard and reserve components, and military spouses.

This employment event is a being conducted by U.S. Chamber of Commerce; the Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce; the Department of Labor Veterans’ Employment & Training Service (DOL VETS); Maine Committee, Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR); the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs; The American Legion; NBC News, and other local partners.

An employment workshop aimed at helping veterans and transitioning service members leverage military experience to achieve civilian career goals will begin at 9:00 a.m.
