Hiring Our Heroes Employment Workshop

The Hiring Our Heroes employment workshop consisted of a classroom session beginning one hour prior to the hiring fair followed by HR professionals conducting one-on-one mentoring sessions with all pre-registered participants. Mentoring sessions focused on resume building; resume writing, and interviewing techniques for all job-seeking veteran and service member participants.

Interested candidates must have completed the FREE electronic pre-registration in order to participate.  A maximum of 50 participants were accepted for the full workshop.  Once the pre-registered candidates had their coaching sessions, the opportunity was available for “walk ins” to have a coaching session through the end of the fair (depending on availability).
