On June 21st from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at Deutsche Bank (60 Wall Street, New York, NY 10005), the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Hiring our Heroes partnered with the VOWS (Veterans on Wall Street) to host a one-of-a kind FREE employment fair for Veterans, Guard and Reserve members, and military spouses.

The event was supported by The American Legion, DOL-VETS, ESGR, The Student Veterans of America, and NYDOL.

This event was a one-of-a-kind FREE hiring fair.  Walk-in veterans and spouses will be allowed with proper identification.

This event was open to employers who were committed to hiring our veterans and to veteran job seekers, active duty military members, Guard and Reserve members, and military spouses.

VOWS partnered with Take the Interview to provide resume review and interview prep on-line.  The on-line platform enables you to submit your resume and an on-line interview to VOWS for feedback prior to the hiring fair.

Hiring Our Heroes has launched an online partnership with Military.com to complement our face to face hiring fair efforts across the country.  Veterans can get help writing resumes and interview tips; translating military skills, experience, and training into related civilian careers; and finding current lists of employment opportunities with military-friendly employers.
