The U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Hiring Our Heroes Hiring Fair, scheduled for August 6th, 2013, at the American Legion Tidewater Post #327 is committed to making this one-of–a-kind FREE hiring fair a win-win for employers and veteran/military spouse job seekers.

This event is sponsored by University of Phoenix and co-sponsored locally by the Virginia committee of the Employer Support of the Guard & Reserve (ESGR), the U. S. Department of Labor Veterans Employment and Training Service (DOL VETS), U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and The American Legion.

We will also be holding resume building and mock interview sessions throughout the day for job seekers. No pre-registration is required for this.

We will also be holding resume building and mock interview sessions throughout the day. Job seekers have the opportunity to work one-on-one. No pre-registration is required. During this time, job seekers work on their resumes, practice interviews with mock interviews, and practice elevator pitches.
