Thank you for joining us January 9, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for a job fair for veteran job seekers, active duty military, members of the National Guard and reserve components, and military spouses at the Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs. This event was a FREE hiring fair for both employers and job seekers.

This employment event was a collaborative partnership among the U.S. Chamber of Commerce; the Greater Scranton, Pittston, Wilkes-Barre, Hazleton, Carbondale and Wayne County Chambers of Commerce, Department of Labor Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (DOL VETS), the Pennsylvania Committee of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR); the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs; The American Legion; the Workforce Investment Boards of Wayne, Luzerne/Schuylkill, and Lackawanna Counties; NBC News, and other local partners.
