Professional Development Workshops open to all Warwick, RI job seekers

Two exciting workshops were offered during the Warwick Hiring Our Heroes Hiring Fair!

1) Your Elevator Speech: Getting you to the next level: 1:00 p.m.  – 2:00 p.m.
Workshop Goal: When introducing yourself at a business networking meeting or even a job interview or job fair, you must be prepared to tell people about yourself. Your elevator speech is key to not only telling people your name but what you do. The secret to your speech is that it needs to be according to your own style and provokes questions about what you do.

2) How to Network Yourself While Looking For a Job: 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Workshop Goal: Networking is key in anything you want to achieve in life. How do you start if you are a shy person, or love to sit behind a computer? This workshop will inspire you to go beyond your comfort zone and realize there are so many small ways to move you forward with your goals.
