Literacy Toolkit

CWP, in collaboration with the National Institute for Literacy and Verizon SuperPages.com, developed a toolkit for distribution to local chambers of commerce that describes the nature of the literacy problem in America, how it impacts local businesses and industries, and what communities can do to increase local efforts aimed at improving the literacy skills of adults.  The toolkit presents a strong case for businesses and other community stakeholders to become advocates for workplace education programs and initiatives in their communities that assist adult learners in gaining the basic skills they need to become productive workers.

Read the latest chamber guide to workplace literacy, Higher Skills, Bottom-Line Results, and download the rest of the literacy toolkit to learn how you can start your own program to improve workplace literacy.
