Reports

May 2013 - The Chamber's U.S.-Bangladesh Working Group released the United States and Bangladesh: Toward the Future report which highlights the country’s prospects to achieve middle-income country status by 2021. The report identifies barriers to further investment and growth in the country, and offers recommendations to help create a better business environment both for U.S. companies in Bangladesh, and also those looking to enter the market. These include strengthening rule of law, enhancing energy security, addressing infrastructure challenges, creating a transparent regulatory system, developing competitive financial services, and promoting corporate social responsibility.

November 2012 - AMCHAM Korea and the U.S.-Korea Business Council released the KORUS Advantage report providing a basic “how-to” guide for utilizing the KORUS FTA for U.S. companies.



November 2012 - The U.S. Chamber released China’s Utility Model Patent System: Innovation Driver or Deterrent. The report provides an assessment of China’s utility model patent system and its ability to contribute to China’s pursuit of creating an innovative society. It also provides a comparison with similar systems in other countries and recommends changes the Chinese government could adopt model for the benefit of both domestic and foreign users.
