About Us

The Chamber's Europe team champions a pro-business agenda in foreign capitals, international organizations, and multilateral forums in Europe and Washington to expand commercial opportunities for members by advancing open and competitive markets, economic growth, and transatlantic cooperation.

Working with our affiliated AmChams abroad, the Chamber also helps generate new business opportunities across the region, and helps member companies with the challenges they face in the European markets.

Organization

The Chamber's Europe team advances its mission with a dedicated team of policy experts and advocates who work closely with the legislative and executive branches of government, other trade associations, think tanks, and international organizations and foreign embassies to advance the Chamber's goals and members' interests.

The team also has a Brussels Office responsible for establishing working relationships with members of the European Parliament, Council, and Commission; national governments and their permanent representatives, key business associations, and top-level EU business executives.

The Brussels Office advocates the Chambers policies, views, and member interests with these groups, while also providing timely intelligence that keeps the Chamber and its members abreast of breaking issues. In both Washington and Brussels, working the media in all its forms is critical to accomplishing the team's mission.
