About - Middle East & Africa Affairs

About Us

The Middle East and Africa Affairs department at the United States Chamber of Commerce provides the Chamber's membership with first hand knowledge of the political, social, business, economic and competitive dynamics of the countries within these regions. The department maintains close relationships with both the public and private sectors in respective countries of these regions at the highest levels.  The department is engaged in the various bilateral and multinational relationships that exists between the countries of these regions and with the United States.  With our network of over 20 affiliated American Chambers of Commerce and American Business Councils, we provide our members with unequaled access to local business communities and decision makers.  In addition, the department engages in policy and advocacy issues in support of greater U. S. business investments and trade.   Currently, the department is focused on advocating stronger bilateral trade and commercial relations with the U.A.E. in support of future Free Trade Agreements.
