Energy Delegation to Saudi Arabia

Save the Date!

November 11-13, 2012

Why Saudi Arabia?
Saudi Arabia is actively seeking to diversify its energy portfolio and is seeking U.S. technology providers to meet the demands of its growing industrial base. Saudi Arabia announced in May 2012 that it would invest $109 billion to build 41 GW of solar energy by 2032 to meet one third of its power generation. The Kingdom also announced it would build 16 nuclear reactors by 2030.

Why Now?
To successfully operate in Saudi Arabia, companies need to build relationships first. In solar energy, Saudi Arabia will issue tenders to build solar energy projects in 2013 and officials are currently formulating nuclear development and application strategies. Now is the time for companies to discuss upcoming opportunities in both sectors.

Why Join the Business Delegation?
Companies will meet with senior members of the Saudi government. There will be business matchmaking opportunities with the private sector. The delegation provides companies a platform to promote their technologies and services.
