Policy Initiatives

  • North American Competitiveness Council (NACC)
    NACC is an initiative to provide for private sector participation in enhancing
    North America's competitive position in global markets and driving innovation and growth.
  • Latin America Trade Coalition | Join our coalition
    A broad-based group of U.S. companies and business organizations working to secure Congressional approval of the Trade Promotion Agreements with Colombia amd Panama.
  • Intellectual Property Rights
    The Western Hemisphere IPR intiative seeks to improve IPR protection and enforcement with programs in Brazil, Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, and Paraguay.
  • Trade Promotion Authority
    Trade Promotion Authority granted every U.S. president the authority to negotiate free trade agreements (FTAs) for Congressional approval on an up-or-down basis within a specified time frame. 
  • Cuba and Unilateral Sanctions
    Unilateral sanctions  isolate the United States from its allies while denying U.S. companies access to markets in which third-country firms can do business easily.
  • Trade Facilitation Initiative
    The initiative seeks to cut the red tape that often holds back international trade and hampers economic prosperity.
