The National Law Journal Names NCLC's Conrad One of 50 Most Influential Women in Law

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The National Law Journal recently named Robin Conrad, executive vice president of the National Chamber Litigation Center (NCLC), to its list of the 50 Most Influential Women Lawyers in America.

"This recognition confirms what we already know -- that Robin's expertise in helping to shape the law continues to benefit everyone in the business community, and we really are lucky to have her here at the Chamber," stated Tom Donohue, president and CEO of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

The National Law Journal first began the series of the 50 Most Influential Women Lawyers in America in 1998. Readers were asked to nominate women attorneys who had a national impact in their fields, demonstrated the power to change the legal landscape, shape public affairs, and start new businesses. Over 200 nominations were received, and a team of editors in New York analyzed and decided upon the selected women.

Conrad, a long-time veteran of NCLC, has pushed the organization to new levels by increasing and diversifying its docket, building its moot court program, and stepping up its Supreme Court practice.

"She's a powerhouse who is committed to the Chamber and what we fight for," Donohue added.

NCLC, the public policy law firm of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, is a membership organization that advocates fair treatment of business in the courts and before regulatory agencies. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the world's largest business federation representing more than 3 million businesses and organizations of every size, sector, and region.
