WASHINGTON, D.C.—The U.S. Chamber of Commerce filed a friend-of-the-court brief in the United States Supreme Court in Jones v. Harris Associates, L.P., urging the Court to head off a new wave of frivolous lawsuits regarding the management fees that mutual funds pay their investment advisers. Read more.
 
 
 
WASHINGTON, D.C.—On August 26, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit issued its decision in United States v. Comprehensive Drug Testing, Inc. The result is an extremely positive development for employers concerned with protecting the confidentiality of business records that are the subject of a government search warrant.
