Transcript

The Environmental Protection Agency and other federal agencies are routinely using and disseminating faulty chemical data used in the regulatory process.  As a result, American businesses are having to spend many tens of millions of dollars to comply with regulations based on bad science.  Businesses could be spending it on job creation or enhanced health benefits. The Chamber has asked Congress to hold oversight hearings and request a GAO report on why EPA refuses to correct faulty data contained in numerous databases and models. The U.S. Chamber is dedicated to ending this EPA practice -which has businesses spending millions of dollars unnecessarily.
