Gateway Computer Discounted Services to Chamber Members

WASHINGTON, D.C.—The United States Chamber of Commerce today named Gateway as its exclusive provider of computer products and services, giving member companies and state and local chambers access to special discounts and services.

"Gateway's superior customer-satisfaction record, strong local presence and expertise in meeting the needs of small businesses make it the right choice at the right time for our membership," said Thomas Donohue, Chamber President and CEO. "This partnership will help Chamber members large and small compete and grow their businesses."

The two-year agreement gives Chamber member companies special discounts on Gateway PCs, servers, training, accessories and a range of services. The program also provides members with dedicated U.S. Chamber of Commerce representatives, a toll-free number and an Internet purchasing site.

"A membership card will serve as our members' passport to enjoy VIP treatment at Gateway stores – the toll-free number and Web site will be there when our members need to mind their own stores," said Donohue. "Either way, Gateway representatives will make it easy to test equipment and tailor solutions to meet their business needs."

Chamber members can also take advantage of Gateway's small business services, such as free business technology seminars in Gateway Country stores, financing, e-business services and on-site needs assessment and planning.
