U.S. Chamber Endorses Forbes in Virginia's 4th District Race
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The United States Chamber of Commerce today endorsed Randy Forbes in Virginia's 4th Congressional District race.
"Randy Forbes is running for Congress on a solidly pro-business platform, including tax relief, limited government and economic expansion," said U.S. Chamber Vice President and Political Director Bill Miller, announcing the endorsement at a Portsmouth, VA press conference.
A rising star in Virginia state politics, Forbes fought hard for a Taxpayers Bill of Rights as a state senator to guarantee equal treatment for all taxpayers and pushed hard for education reform to help prepare today's students for tomorrow's workforce.
"Forbes understands that America's businesses hold the key for creating jobs and spreading economic prosperity," Miller added. "The Chamber believes he will be an effective legislator who will vigorously support businesses, small and large, on critical issues like taxes, trade and legal reform."
The U.S. Chamber endorses congressional candidates who have demonstrated support for business and will work to advance a pro-business agenda in Congress.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the world's largest business federation, representing more than three million businesses and organizations of every size, sector, and region.
