U.S. Chamber Names Renee Radcliff Sinclair New Executive Director of Northwestern Regional Office
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The United States Chamber of Commerce today announced the hiring of Renee Radcliff Sinclair as new executive director for the Northwest regional office in Seattle, where she will maintain the Chamber's legislative, political and grassroots resources in Washington, Oregon, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho and Alaska.
"Renee's background – public service, public policy and communications – makes her an excellent choice to lead the Chamber's efforts in the Pacific Northwest," said Thomas J. Donohue, Chamber president and CEO. "Her experience and leadership will be a real asset to our legislative and political goals as we approach the second half of an important year."
Prior to her hiring at the Chamber, Radcliff Sinclair spent 14 years as a journalist, followed by four successful terms in the Washington State House of Representatives. While serving in the legislature, she was the recipient of a number of awards and honors, including being named to the American Council of Young Political Leaders and as a fellow to the George Washington University's Elliot School of Public Affairs. After retiring from office, Radcliff Sinclair held policy leadership roles with both Apple Computer and the American Electronics Association.
Radcliff Sinclair holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Pacific Union College in Angwin, California, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Almeda College and University in Boise, Idaho. She resides in Lynnwood, Washington with her husband and two children.
The Chamber's eight regional offices play critical roles in communicating the Chamber message of free enterprise at local levels. They work extensively with the Chamber's political program on the endorsement of pro-growth congressional candidates and educating local business and association leaders on the Chamber's policy agenda.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the world's largest business federation, representing more than three million businesses of every size, sector and region.
