"These three men are respected experts in their fields and they know the challenges facing the business community as well as anyone in town," said Chamber President and CEO Thomas J. Donohue. "Their thoughtful study and informative insight into each of their respective areas has brought great value to our members and has helped push the Chamber's pro-business agenda forward."

As head of the Environment, Technology & Regulatory Affairs division, Mr. Kovacs initiates and leads multidimensional, national issue campaigns on comprehensive energy legislation, environmental rulemakings, telecommunications reform, emerging technologies, and the systematic application of sound science to the federal regulatory process.

Mr. Johnson serves as head of the Labor, Immigration and Employee Benefits division and is a principal on the healthcare reform debate and employment issues such as the Employee Free Choice Act. He also oversees policy on ergonomics, pension funding reform, civil rights, wage and hour issues, and comprehensive immigration reform, including visa and border policy.

"Their leadership has been and will continue to be instrumental in shaping policies that impact business," said Donohue. "They have been a tour de force in driving debates on the issues that are helping to turn this economy around and put more people back to work."
