U.S. Chamber Applauds Babbitt's Confirmation as FAA Administrator

WASHINGTON, DC—U.S. Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Thomas J. Donohue issued the following statement regarding J. Randolph "Randy" Babbitt's confirmation as administrator to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA):

"I congratulate Randy Babbitt for his confirmation as FAA administrator. The nation's aviation system is at a crossroads and Babbitt will provide the leadership needed to oversee aspects of civil aviation in the United States and to help modernize the nation's air traffic control system. We look forward to working with him on the key decisions made in the coming months."
