Leitch Elected Chairman of National Chamber Litigation Center
Ford Motor Executive to Promote Business Interests in the Courts
WASHINGTON, D.C.—The Board of Directors of the National Chamber Litigation Center (NCLC) has elected David G. Leitch as Chairman of the Board. Leitch is general counsel and a group vice president for Ford Motor Company. Leitch has been a member of NCLC’s Board of Directors since 2006. He succeeds James B. Comey, former senior vice president and general counsel of Lockheed Martin Corporation.
“David is one of the business community’s foremost advocates,” said Robin Conrad, executive vice president of NCLC. “His understanding of the legal challenges facing businesses makes him the ideal person to lead NCLC’s efforts in the courts.”
Leitch is a graduate of Duke University and the University of Virginia School of Law. Prior to joining Ford, he served in the White House as deputy counsel to President George W. Bush and advised the president on issues involving national security, judicial nominations, legislative proposals, and ethics. Leitch has also served as chief counsel for the Federal Aviation Administration and deputy assistant attorney general for the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Legal Counsel. He was a law clerk for Supreme Court Chief Justice William H. Rehnquist and Circuit Judge J. Harvie Wilkinson, III, and a partner at Hogan & Hartson LLP.

NCLC is the public policy law firm of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce that advocates fair treatment of business in the courts and before regulatory agencies.
