U.S. Chamber Launches TV Ad Blitz in Florida
Highlights Crist’s ‘Record of Flip Flopping’ on Health Care Reform
WASHINGTON, D.C.—The U.S. Chamber of Commerce today launched the television ad “The Flip Flopper” throughout Florida to highlight Governor Charlie Crist’s shift in position on the health care reform law.
“Florida’s voters want a candidate who will consistently stand up for policies that create jobs,” said Bill Miller, national political director for the Chamber. “This ad will remind the state’s voters that Charlie Crist not only flip flopped on health care reform, he’s now supporting this job-killing law.
“In Florida, there’s only one candidate who is consistently supportive of Free Enterprise – that’s Marco Rubio,” Miller said. “In the Senate, we believe Marco would be more than a reliable supporter of Florida’s businesses and workers, he could bring others along to help generate good policy.”
