Access to Markets: How Business Owners Acquire Customers

Did you know that leveraging existing customer relationships is the most widely used strategy to cultivate customers? Are you aware that over 72 percent of small businesses don't have a written marketing plan?

To find out the answers to these questions and gain a better understanding of how small businesses are growing, the U.S. Chamber's Women and Minority Outreach office conducted the survey Access to Markets. The survey report details the strategies used by small business owners, including women and minorities, to acquire customers and identify the markets they are penetrating.
