Senior government officials and business leaders met for The Global Potential of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID. The program included panels on innovations in RFID, how the technology can enhance American competitiveness, and the need for global RFID standards to ensure interoperability.
 
Speakers include: Claus E. Heinrich, SAP AG executive board member; Bill McDermott, SAP America president and CEO; Daniel W. Caprio, deputy assistant secretary for technology policy and chief privacy officer, U.S. Department of Commerce; and Patrick Gauthier, senior vice president, new product development, Visa USA.
