The Inaugural Meeting of the Native American Enterprise Initiative (NAEI)

December 3. 2012 | 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. EST

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the world’s largest business federation representing the interests of more than 3 million businesses of all sizes, sectors, and regions, as well as state and local chambers and industry associations. As part of its efforts to reflect the rich and diverse nature of the American economy, the Chamber is launching the Native American Enterprise Initiative (NAEI) to promote the interests and agenda of tribes and tribal entrepreneurs. The NAEI seeks to build on the Chamber’s record of success and advocacy by focusing on the unique economic issues confronting tribal business entities and Native American-owned enterprises – and the December 3, 2012 Inaugural Meeting of the Initiative’s Leadership Council marks the first public meeting of the NAEI following its establishment.
