America is Ready to Vote for a New Direction

Former Senior Advisor, Political and Federation Relations

We’ve had a crisis of leadership in Washington for too long. Gridlock and big-government policies have stood in the way of jobs, growth, and opportunity.

This election is our opportunity to change course by electing candidates who value and understand the American free enterprise system that powers our economy.

For over a year now, the U.S. Chamber has communicated the importance of the midterm elections and what’s at stake.

We engaged earlier than ever before, backing candidates in primary races across the country who not only are pro-business, but who have the ability to win and the courage to govern.

As a result, 2014 has been one of the best classes of candidates we’ve seen. During this election cycle, we’ve run ads in 45 House and Senate races to educate voters and we launched the most comprehensive online Get out the Vote effort in the Chamber’s 102 year history.

All of our efforts lead up to this one day – Election Day. And it all comes down to who shows up on November 4.

If you believe that economic growth and opportunity will lead our country’s future, you need to vote. Encourage your friends, family, and community to do the same.

On November 4, let’s choose the path of prosperity and ensure the voice of economic freedom echoes in every city and every state across the country.
