After his visit to the White House on Monday, Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari stopped by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to discuss his country’s important role in establishing increased U.S. trade relationships in Africa.

Buhari was elected earlier this year, and the hope is that the new leader will build prosperity and peace in Nigeria. The Chamber, the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) and the business community remain committed to an increased bilateral trade relationship with the continent.
