The Chamber’s 2015 Global Supply Chain Summit on Tuesday will focus on solutions to keep the movement of goods “fluid and reliable,” a point emphasized by U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker.
Pritzker, one of the summit’s speakers, sat down in advance of the event to talk about the importance of infrastructure investment and trade agreements.
“Supply chains are absolutely critical to the production of goods and services in the United States,” she says. “What we know is our supply chains often can be global, not just domestic. And so it’s really important that we invest in making it easier for our supply chains to function efficiently and in a timely fashion.”
