Benjamin Shobert leads strategy and partnering for Healthcare NExT, a part of Microsoft’s Artificial Intelligence and Research’s new initiative covering the healthcare and life science industries. Prior to joining Microsoft, he ran Rubicon Strategy Group, a strategy consulting firm that specialized in helping western healthcare providers and life science companies design market entry strategies for China and southeast Asia. He is a Senior Associate for International Health at the National Bureau of Asian Research, where his work focus on indigenous innovation policies specific to healthcare and the life sciences. His new book Blaming China: It Might Feel Good but It Won’t Fix America’s Economy, will be published by Potomac Books later this year.
