Caroline Swann, vice president of Talent Solutions at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, oversees the human resources function. This comprises talent acquisition, benefits and wellness, talent development and engagement, and HRIS data analytics. She and her team work to ensure an employee experience that is second to none.
Before joining the Chamber, Swann was director of human resources at the Republican National Committee. Earlier, she served as director of personnel at the White House, where she led human resources, oversaw the internship program, and instituted Bring Your Child to Work Day. During the Bush administration, Swann held leadership positions at several Cabinet-level agencies, including Commerce and Housing and Urban Development.
Swann speaks to groups on executive leadership, general human resources management, and best practices in organizational transitions.
She earned a B.A. in political science at the University of Arizona. Originally from Phoenix, she and her husband reside in Bethesda, Maryland, with their three children.
