Established in 1914, The NOCO Company (NOCO) designs and creates premium consumer battery chargers, jump starters, solar panels, and portable power devices as well as a wide range related battery products and accessories. Based in Solon, Ohio, we employ over 75 people and export to over 60 countries with Canada being our number one export market with 12-15 percent of our total sales going to that country. Almost all of the jobs at NOCO are dependent on our ability to trade internationally. The international market is certainly our largest market for potential growth by far, and we have doubled our staff alone due to our increase in international businesses. Having more free trade agreements would lower the tariff barriers, taxes, duties, and other regulatory restrictions that we are facing on a daily basis. If Washington could help us overcome these hurdles, we would be able to see tremendous growth, especially in Brazil, Japan and countries in Europe and South America. The growth potential of these international markets is too large to ignore, and now is the time to create free trade agreements that can lift these barriers and help us explore new markets and grow NOCO around the world.
