Regulatory Reform: Federal Reserve
Advance Transparent Regulation, at the Federal Reserve and elsewhere:
Ensure that the Federal Reserve lives up to the same standards of transparency and due process required of other regulators. Also, address conflicts and lack of coordination among the regulators and advance reform recommendations at the SEC, FSOC, and proxy advisory firms.
The U.S. Chamber Center for Capital Markets Competitiveness (CCMC) has produced numerous reports and studies suggesting specific recommendations on how to reform regulatory agencies. Each agenda was designed to strengthen the regulatory system while providing transparent and predictable rules of the road for regulated entities.
