Kent Nabors serves as Chief Information Security Officer for a $10 billion, privately-owned, multi-state bank in the Midwest.
Kent has significant experience in both the banking and IT industries. He has worked in bank examinations with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. He also worked in IT consulting before moving to the banking industry.
Kent holds the GSEC certification from the SANS Institute and received his MBA from the University of Oklahoma. He is the co-author of the book “Dissecting the Hack: The F0rb1dd3n Network”. When not looking for new ways to secure digital data, he is usually spending quiet time woodworking or hopelessly trying to keep up with his wife and two daughters.
