Dr. Adolfo L. Rubinstein
Argentine Health Minister
Health G20 Working Group Chair

Dear Minister Rubenstein:

International business groups engaged in supporting the G20 objectives, have been
consistent proponents of strengthening health systems as a vital part of economic
infrastructure in all major economies.

We want to congratulate the Government of Argentina for its plans to host a meeting of
health ministers under the G20 in October 2018. G20 is an excellent forum to advance
collective leadership and share experiences in the transformation of healthcare systems
around the world. We raised global issues in Berlin in 2017 at the B20
Health Conference and are committed to following up on the initial progress.

We would welcome an opportunity to open a dialogue and provide thought leadership
between the broad spectrum of health industries from Argentina and other G20 countries,
with G20 Health Ministers on the margins of the G20 Ministerial in October. This
dialogue would help countries use global industry expertise in achieving their healthcare
goals and underscore the Government of Argentina’s lasting contribution to the shared
objective of comprehensive, sustainable, and improved healthcare.

Yours sincerely,

Daniel Funes de Rioja
