U.S. Chamber President and CEO Suzanne Clark delivered The 2026 State of American Business address from the U.S. Chamber's historic headquarters on January 15.

In her address, Clark called on leaders to embrace free market principles to drive economic growth and shared that the state of American business must be “growth-oriented, market-driven,  future-focused—but above all, fearless.”   

Joining her at the event were JPMorganChase Chairman and CEO Jamie Dimon, Hilton President and CEO Christopher J. Nassetta, and Carlyle Co-Chairman David Rubenstein for a timely conversation on how business can keep America on the path toward growth and opportunity.
