Megan T. Murray is senior manager of member relations for small business policy at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Murray supports the Small Business Council and the Mid-Markets Business Council. She manages council membership and engages members on a regular basis to increase small business input and involvement in Chamber activities.
Murray also works closely with the Chamber’s Executive Office in developing and overseeing board of directors meetings. She supports the chairmen of the board and determines key locations and events for speeches and other Chamber-related content during their tenures.
Before joining the Chamber in March 2014, Murray was associate director of scheduling for external relations at the George Washington University. Earlier in her career, she was development manager for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Capitol Chapter.
Murray holds a B.A. in communications from East Carolina University. She serves on the leadership team for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Man/Woman of the Year campaign and is a Junior Gala board member for So Others Might Eat. She resides in Arlington, Virginia.
