WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Chamber of Commerce Senior Vice President for Cyber, Intelligence, and Supply Chain Security Policy Christopher D. Roberti issued the following statement today regarding the recent U.S. and Allied government response to continued cyberattacks:

“Continued cyberattacks against businesses, whether from independent cybercriminals or nation states, need to stop. The United States and Allied governments took a significant step in the right direction by condemning malicious cyber activities including the attack on Microsoft, and the indictments unsealed by the U.S. Department of Justice help to send a signal that these actions are not without risk or consequence. However, more still needs to be done to stop cyber attackers from operating with impunity. The Chamber looks forward to working with the U.S. government, our allies, and our partners in the public and private sectors worldwide to take action and fight these cybercriminals.”
