WASHINGTON, D.C.— U.S. Chamber of Commerce Senior Vice President for Cyber, Intelligence, and Security Policy Christopher Roberti released the following statement today regarding the announcement of the National Cyber Strategy:

“The White House’s National Cyber Strategy is an important policy evolution to strengthen cyber resilience in the public and private sectors, and enhance our economic and national security. The U.S. Chamber welcomes the administration’s focus on working with industry to reduce cyber risks and raise the cybersecurity fitness of both businesses and government. We urge officials to combine this document with meaningful dialogue on implementing a number of key elements, including seeking countries’ adherence to norms in pursuit of cyber stability, deterring or disrupting attacks before they occur, and advancing industry-driven cyber solutions to challenges at home and abroad.”
