WASHINGTON, D.C.— The U.S. Chamber’s Executive Vice President and Chief Policy Officer Neil Bradley issued the following statement after the Senate voted to approve reauthorization of the Export-Import Bank for seven years:

“Today’s vote to reauthorize the Export-Import Bank is a win for American business owners who dream of growing their business by reaching the 95% of the world’s consumers that live outside the United States. Providing trade financing and loan guarantees often when commercial banks are unable to do so, the Export-Import Bank is especially important in helping small businesses turn export opportunities into real sales abroad that support good jobs here at home. We applaud House and Senate leadership for providing American exporters the necessary tools to compete in an increasingly competitive global marketplace.”
