House Should Quickly Take up and Pass the Senate Measure

WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Chamber of Commerce Senior Vice President and Chief Policy Officer Neil Bradley issued the following statement today after passage of the 2018 budget resolution in the U.S. Senate:

“We thank the senators who voted to move forward with a transformative overhaul of the tax code for America’s job creators and families. Now that the Senate has acted on its promise, the business community urges the House to quickly take up and pass the Senate measure. The legislative process needs to continue moving forward to ensure we get pro-growth tax reform that will increase American competitiveness and foster strong, sustained growth.

“Business owners and workers are watching and waiting to see if Congress can follow through on tax reform legislation that will unlock investment, grow the economy, and raise wages, and we are optimistic that this will get done.”
