We welcome today’s announcement from President Trump and Prime Minister Abe on a new effort to expand bilateral trade and maximize benefits for American job creators. These new discussions should help put U.S. businesses on a level playing field with our foreign competitors and address longstanding issues between our two nations. The U.S. Chamber and our U.S.-Japan Business Council look forward to working with both governments to expand trade and investment between the United States and Japan.”
